  I have worked in 5 star hotels in London and the Velvet is a wonderful hotel who's friendly and genuine service outshines some of Londons top 5 star hotels. The room I stayed in, reminds me of the wonderful quintessential Parisian loft. It was clean and well maintained. The restaurant is quaint with really good food and excellent service. This hotel is truly a gem in Manchester.

  Superb place. Staff are great and very helpful. Suites are immaculately presented. Right on the doorstep for a great night out. Came back early and didn't even hear much noise at all from Canal Street.

  Lovely staff very welcoming friendly relaxed place. Food was lovely we went for afternoon tea as a surprise and they put balloons on our table. Nothing was too much trouble definitely recommend
