  My uncle stayed at the hotel. When I called to check if he'd arrived, and after spelling out his name very slowly to someone that obviously didn't have the best English, they couldn't find him on the system. So I drove over as I live fairly close and sure enough, there he was at the desk checking in. He had issues paying by card with the woman I'd been on the phone to earlier and he tried 2 cards before drawing cash from the machine within reception. We went to the room together and it was a pokey little twin room that was a "below par 2 star". All the little things you'd expect, weren't there, so a branded pen & paper, the little bottles of toiletries, information about the hotel inc breakfast times, check in/out times, WiFi password. It just didn't feel like the sort of place I'd recommend to anyone and that doesn't just come from my reasons listed above. You know when you go somewhere, the "feel" is everything, from the level of professionalism the staff show, to the decor, the brightness, the smell, the ambiance, etc etc. Every little thing seemed to let the place down.

  Pretty nice place. Sweet back from road and very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

  Really horrible place to spend the night before an early morning flight. The room was clean but very run down and there was a strange smell. I reluctantly used the shower but not for long. We had paid to leave our car in the hotel's car park but were really unsure about the security they had in place. We of course had no other option by this point so just found the best, most visible space we could. There's cheap and cheerful and then there's just cheap!
