  Great value dinner bed and breakfast deal. Good location, lovely dinner, very attentive staff. Large room which was simple to heat and cool. Good shower, ENORMOUS and very comfortable bed, and fantastic breakfast next morning. Overall superb. Some VERY minor quibbles; No fridge or minibar in room (just a "tuck box"). No door on wardrobe, so it's just a rail really, and the hangars are bizarre and virtually unusable. Huge blank wall in room could have done with a nice picture on it. Other than that, pretty much perfect.

  restaurant has been refurbished since I last visited on new year eve. Looks amazing, lovely atmosphere. Food was lovely. Waiter/waitresses polite and friendly, however were slow on taking orders and hard to get hold off. Our friend who pregant waited 20 plus minutes for a drink after ordering it. Would definitely go back.

  Beautiful room, surreal. Amazing breakfast once I knew it was to order. Sat at table for ages before I realised it was up to me to place order with waiting staff. But overall, top place.

  Nice rooms, bright, modern and friendly with excellent beds and showers. Service not as sharp as it used to be, and prices creeping. Slight meanness on overpriced room nibbles/water, but the free wifi is good. A recent refresh this month has poshed-up the brasserie but service was ponderous and it felt a little overdone. Still a favoured stop but other hotels are looking sharper now...
